PeckShield: Cryptocurrency hacker losses drop to $26.5 million, a year-on-year decrease of 98.2%

PeckShield released a report on platform X showing that the cryptocurrency industry experienced a total of 15 hacking incidents, with cumulative losses of $26.5 million. Compared to February 2025 (losses of $1.5 billion, with Bybit losing $1.4 billion), this represents a year-on-year decrease of 98.2%; compared to January 2026 (losses of $86.01 million), this is a month-on-month decrease of 69.2%.
