Sygnum: 87% of surveyed high-net-worth individuals in Asia hold cryptocurrencies, and demand for ETFs is significant

According to BeInCrypto, Sygnum's "2025 Asia-Pacific High Net Worth Individuals Report" shows that 87% of respondents have included digital assets in their investment portfolios; 49% of respondents have allocated more than 10% of their portfolios to cryptocurrencies, indicating that the median cryptocurrency investment proportion among high net worth individuals is between 10% and 20%. Additionally, 60% of respondents plan to increase their investment in cryptocurrencies.
The report indicates that 80% of respondents are interested in purchasing ETFs other than Bitcoin and Ethereum, with more than half of the respondents interested in investing in Solana, followed by multi-asset cryptocurrency indices (48%) and XRP (41%). Notably, 70% of respondents stated that they would allocate or increase their allocation if staking rewards were included in the ETF structure.
However, Sygnum observed that after experiencing recent market fluctuations, a considerable portion of investors remains cautious about the market, yet 57% of high net worth individuals and 61% of ultra-high net worth individuals hold an optimistic or strongly optimistic view of the long-term prospects of the cryptocurrency market.
