French lawmakers invite Jan3 founder to discuss "strategic Bitcoin reserves"

ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, French Member of the European Parliament Sarah Knafo has invited Jan3 founder Samson Mow to visit France to discuss plans for establishing a "strategic Bitcoin reserve" for France and promoting friendly regulation. Mow expressed his anticipation of sparking a "national-level Bitcoin adoption wave" in France and across Europe.

This move comes against the backdrop of increasing Bitcoin participation in both the public and private sectors in France, including the announcement by the French state-owned bank Bpifrance to invest $27 million to support local crypto projects, as well as the European Bitcoin treasury company Blockchain Group increasing its Bitcoin holdings to 1,471 coins.
