the re-staking protocol Byzantine Finance has completed a $3 million Pre-Seed round of financing, led by Node Capital and Blockwall Ventures, with participation from Lightshift, Masterkey, and Kiln Ventures, as well as angel investors from EigenLayer, LayerZero, and Ledger. The funds will be used to develop its Byzantine permissionless "aggregation layer," a protocol designed to enable multiple blockchains to share liquidity, state, and users without sacrificing sovereignty.
