ENS Labs will launch the L2 network Namechain based on Linea technology

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the company behind Ethereum Name Service, ENS Labs, announced on Tuesday that it has chosen Linea's technology to build its upcoming Layer2 network Namechain. Linea is a zero-knowledge rollup technology launched by Ethereum infrastructure giant Consensys in July 2023.

ENS Labs stated that there are two reasons for choosing Linea to build its network: one is the alignment of values, and the other is related to speed. ENS will be one of the first major projects to build a Layer2 blockchain based on Linea technology.
