the high-performance rollup network Layer N has announced its transformation into a new Layer-1 blockchain N1. N1 is an application-centric full-stack Layer-1 blockchain designed to prioritize scalability and performance.

N1 will adopt a super app and product-centric approach. It will be the first blockchain to support Typescript application development (other languages such as Solidity, Rust, and C are also in preparation), lowering the learning curve for deploying applications on-chain.

The team behind N1 has received significant investments from institutions such as Founders Fund, Multicoin, dao5, Kraken, Amber, GSR, and SALT.
