OKX will support the Metis (METIS) network upgrade and hard fork.

ChainCatcher message, according to the official announcement, to ensure the smooth upgrade of the METIS network, the deposit and withdrawal functions of METIS tokens and other related tokens within the network will be suspended on August 20, 2024, at 5:00 PM (UTC+8). After the completion of this upgrade, the deposit and withdrawal services for METIS tokens and related network tokens will be reopened when the network operates stably, and no further notice will be given.

During the network upgrade, trading of METIS network tokens will not be affected. However, please be aware of the potential risks associated with spot, leverage, and derivative trading of related tokens, and increase your margin in advance to reduce risks. To ensure the safety of funds, please do not perform deposit and withdrawal operations for METIS tokens and their related network tokens during the upgrade period.
