Turkish cryptocurrency exchange BtcTurk has suffered a cyber attack and has suspended cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals.

ChainCatcher news, one of Turkey's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, BtcTurk, announced that its platform was attacked on June 22.

It is reported that the attack affected the hot wallet balances of 10 cryptocurrencies, but most assets are stored in secure cold wallets. BtcTurk stated that its financial situation is sufficient to cover the losses, and user assets will not be affected.

Currently, BtcTurk has suspended all cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal operations, and the team is conducting a detailed investigation.
