Steven also served as Global Head of Compliance at Kraken and Chief Compliance Officer at Xapo. Steven has over 20 years of experience in financial services and regulation, serving as a regulator and policymaker. He worked at the FCA for over nine years and at the Gaming Commission for 12 years. Prior to joining Binance, Steven was a Strategy and Engagement Manager in the Data, Technology and Innovation division at the FCA. He was involved in developing the FCA's crypto guidelines and led a policy working group focused on the UK, EU, and other countries.
