Peter Smith is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blockchain, a financial technology and data company that has enabled millions of users around the world to store and transact digital value quickly and without costly intermediaries. Under his leadership, Blockchain has become the market leader in digital currency and distributed ledger technology. By 2016, Blockchain's software had powered over 100 million transactions across the globe. Peter is a 2016 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer and a renowned thought leader in the FinTech space. He has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, and TechCrunch, and has spoken at conferences around the world, including TechCrunch Disrupt, Money 20/20, Web Summit, Collision, and Wired Money. Before co-founding Blockchain, Peter lived, studied, and worked in the US, Europe, MENA, East Africa, and Asia. When he isn't in front of a computer, you can find him either reading or out running, trekking, surfing, and climbing or skiing down a mountain.

Marco is an author of the SAFT Project Whitepaper, a self-regulatory effort to curb Initial Coin Offerings. He is an advisor to the International Monetary Fund, the Blockchain Ambassador to the State of Delaware, and was the Chairman of the Regulatory Affairs Committee of the Bitcoin Foundation.
