STS Digital is a Bermuda-regulated digital asset trading firm focused on institutional clients. Its core business is market making and trading across spot, vanilla and exotic options, and structured products, covering over 400 tokens through a unified platform (UI, API, and voice).
The company's key competitive edge lies in its cross-asset portfolio margin model. Instead of calculating margin requirements per position in isolation, it assesses risk across the entire portfolio, allowing offsetting positions in different assets to reduce collateral. This directly addresses a major pain point for institutions: fragmented margin requirements that tie up capital inefficiently and fail to reflect true portfolio risk.
In the past six months, STS Digital launched this cross-asset margin service for eligible institutional and professional clients, and partnered with Kraken to distribute structured products. The service is not available to retail investors. No significant negative developments were reported in the last two years.
Over the past six months, STS Digital achieved several milestones: in April 2026, it became the first principal derivatives dealer integrated as an exchange partner on BitGo's Go Network, allowing client assets to remain in BitGo custody without prefunding exchanges; in May, it received the BMA's highest-level Full "F" licence, completing the entire T-M-F pathway; in March, it launched a structured products platform in partnership with Kraken, offering yield enhancement and capital protection strategies; and in August, it introduced cross-asset portfolio margining with a unified collateral pool and net risk assessment. It also integrated with Haruko, joined the Rysk RFQ Network, and explored tokenized RWAs with Metals.io.
Officially stated future priorities include expanding institutional market access, building the next generation of structured products, deepening strategic partnerships, delivering innovative options and treasury solutions, and supporting the convergence of traditional finance and digital assets. It also plans to launch next-generation products clients have requested while deepening institutional distribution and counterparty relationships.
