About Pons
Pons is a token launch platform on Robinhood Chain offering tools to create and issue tokens, with market data, analytics and documentation to help projects launch and distribute assets on-chain.
The project operates as a non-custodial interface where users hold their own assets and keys and the platform does not hold assets or execute transactions. Emphasizing usability, transparency and compliance notices, it serves projects and users who want to issue tokens on-chain and provides tools around the launch process, making it a representative project in token launch platforms.
After Robinhood Chain's mainnet went live on July 1, 2026, Pons rapidly deployed V1 as a non-custodial, permissionless token launchpad built for this Arbitrum L2, letting users create a fixed-supply token and auto-lock liquidity in one transaction.
On July 13, 2026, Pons's reference token PONS went live on the platform with an initial market cap near $2,000; about 80% of protocol fees fund TWAP buybacks and burns, and its market cap reached roughly $44.58M by July 26.
On August 4, 2026, Pons launched V2, replacing the direct-pool model with an ETH bonding curve that auto-graduates tokens into permanently locked Uniswap V4 full-range positions, adding custom pairs like stablecoins and tokenized stocks.
On October 7, 2026, PONS listed on Coinbase spot trading, followed by Kraken, Upbit and Bithumb, while the platform surpassed 250,000 launched tokens and over $1.75B in cumulative volume.
Pons went live on Robinhood Chain in early July 2026 and quickly became the chain's largest token launchpad. On buyback and burn, the protocol routes about 80% of fee revenue into buying back and burning PONS: as of October 6, about 32% of total supply had been burned, leaving circulating supply near 679 million tokens.
Revenue: cumulative fees topped $56 million within roughly two months of launch, with a record $5.95 million on September 1; however, daily revenue has fallen from a peak of about $2 million in late August to roughly $240,000 in early October.
Progress: PONS was added to Binance Wallet Alpha on September 2 and listed on Coinbase spot on October 7; responding to community concerns over the buyback mechanism, the founder confirmed on October 3 a contract upgrade to a cycle that claims funds every 7 days and executes buybacks and burns in the following 7 days. Uniswap Labs was also reported to have purchased PONS for "long-term alignment".
Pons rose rapidly in 2026 as the non-custodial token launchpad on Robinhood Chain. After incumbent Noxa halted new token launches on July 11, Pons absorbed most of the displaced flow and became the chain's busiest launchpad within days. On August 4-5 it shipped V2, replacing the instant-pool model with an ETH-denominated bonding curve, graduating tokens into permanently locked full-range Uniswap V4 positions, with custom pairing against stablecoins and tokenized stocks (USDG, NVDA, AAPL, HOOD). Cumulative activity exceeds 266,000 launches and $1.86 billion in volume; roughly 32% of total PONS supply has been bought back and burned, with Coinbase and Upbit listings on October 7 and 8 respectively.
Future strategy and roadmap: Pons turns platform fees into buyback fuel: 80% of fees buy and burn PONS, and V2's ETH-denominated bonding curve with locked Uniswap V4 positions settles fees inside the pool, so buyback persistence depends on launch volume rather than price. FalconX research puts more than 80% of Robinhood Chain DEX volume in memecoins, and by making tokenized NVDA, AAPL and HOOD quote assets Pons is pre-building for a post-speculation order flow. The risk is equally clear: Pons is not an official Robinhood product, launchpad competition has intensified since Noxa exited, and while 50,000-plus tokens and 58,000 daily active addresses are the installed base, switching to a rival costs users almost nothing, so dependence on a single ecosystem is the ceiling on its scale.
Ozzy (@MEADGod), founder, operates pseudonymously and is an active developer in the Farcaster and Berachain communities. In 2025 he built the RootsFi lending protocol and the MEAD stablecoin on Berachain, and in July 2026 he founded Pons, where he leads the overall architecture and the design of both versions, writing most of the core contracts himself. 0xnobi, core contributor, was publicly identified by Uniswap's communications lead and has long participated in protocol development, ecosystem promotion and launch-time arrangements, one of the few publicly active members of the team. Beyond the two core figures, the remaining members likewise contribute under pseudonyms or nicknames, with communication concentrated on X and Farcaster channels. Engineering, operations and community lines are coordinated directly by the founder, and governance decisions rest with the founding team.
