ORA

ORA is a verifiable oracle protocol that brings AI and complex computation onchain. Its core product, the Onchain AI Oracle (OAO), allows smart contracts to request AI inference directly on the blockchain, with results verified through optimistic machine learning (opML). This means developers can integrate AI capabilities into decentralized applications without relying on centralized services.

The main problem ORA solves is the lack of trustworthy AI in blockchain environments. Traditional oracles only fetch simple data, while AI requires computation and reasoning. ORA enables verifiable AI inference, making it possible for DeFi, gaming, and other dApps to use AI-driven insights. Additionally, ORA introduces the Initial Model Offering (IMO) mechanism, which tokenizes open-source AI models using ERC-7641 (intrinsic revenue-sharing tokens) and ERC-7007 (verifiable AI-generated content tokens). This creates a sustainable funding model for AI developers and allows token holders to share in the revenue generated by model usage.

In the past six months (2026-02-28 to 2026-08-29), ORA has focused on expanding its ecosystem. The OAO is now integrated with multiple networks, including Arbitrum and Optimism, and the team has launched a points program to incentivize early participation. The protocol continues to refine its opML technology to reduce costs and improve scalability, aiming to make onchain AI more accessible to developers and users alike.
