About Avalon

Avalon is an MMO that hands world-building to players, centred on Elysara, a 32-square-kilometre high-fantasy continent, with characters, gear and progress carried across worlds. It targets the gap between content throughput and ownership in user-generated games: Forge generates NPCs, items and loot tables with models, Merlin wires triggers and win conditions without code, and Sage turns natural-language descriptions into playable terrain and rules, so player-made worlds can be published, revenue-shared and iterated.

On the chain side, Avalon puts asset ownership and royalty settlement on Soneium, hiding wallets, addresses and gas from players so the chain only registers provenance and splits revenue rather than sitting in the play path. The offering combines official worlds, creator tools and a marketplace, aimed at small studios, modders and streamers, and differs from closed platforms in that assets travel and revenue rules live in contracts. Whether creator worlds persist depends on the playability of what the three tools produce, and official worlds remain the main entry point.

On July 1, 2026, Avalon confirmed it will use Sony's Soneium to carry in-game item ownership and trading, settling assets on an Ethereum layer-2 network so players can carry items across worlds without a centralized ledger.

Avalon opened private testing for creators the same month in the main world Elysara, which spans 32 square kilometers. An autumn "flywheel validation" phase tests four links at once: tool output, player retention, marketplace turnover and creator monetization. The toolkit includes Forge for AI-generated NPCs and loot tables, Merlin for no-code logic, and Sage for AI world generation, alongside a new cyberpunk world called Vireon. The project previously raised $10 million led by BITKRAFT Ventures and HASHED, with Coinbase Ventures, Foresight Ventures and Delphi Digital participating, for roughly $23 million in total.

Avalon aims to reach Early Access by the end of 2026, then open world generation and asset minting to third-party studios in 2027 with usage-based revenue sharing.
