Details

VEX (Verifiable Exchange) is an on-chain order book exchange based on zero-knowledge proofs. It uses zk-proofs to verify off-chain order book matching on-chain, balancing transaction speed with decentralized security. Users self-custody assets, settlements occur on-chain, and all order book operations are verifiable. Its mechanism includes an automatic escape hatch that triggers if the exchange fails to produce valid proofs, allowing users to safely withdraw funds. The project is built by a team with backgrounds from Celestia and LI.FI, with core repositories including vex-prover and vex-core.
