Details

Unipay is a decentralized PayFi protocol built on the Solana blockchain, with its core asset being the yield-bearing stablecoin USDu. The protocol generates sustainable yield for USDu through delta-neutral strategies and staking mechanisms, while integrating payment tools, credit scoring, and zero-knowledge proof privacy technology to enable seamless cross-chain payments and credit access. Users can stake assets such as ETH or SOL to mint virtual credit cards backed by stablecoin limits, and gradually unlock unsecured credit lines based on repayment history. Merchants can accept crypto payments through Unipay's payment terminal, benefiting from low fees and real-time settlement. The project was founded in 2024 by the Unitas team, headquartered in the United Kingdom, aiming to bridge DeFi and traditional payment systems to drive blockchain payments in real-world applications.
