Details

Umbra is an Ethereum-based privacy transfer protocol that leverages stealth address technology to provide on-chain privacy for crypto asset transfers. Its core mechanism: the recipient generates a one-time stealth address, and funds are sent directly to that address, severing the observable on-chain link between sender and recipient. Umbra supports private transfers of ETH and ERC-20 tokens, and includes built-in key management that allows users to recover assets via one-time keys or associated keys. The protocol does not rely on centralized mixers or relayers; all operations are performed on-chain, balancing privacy with decentralization.
