About Trasia
Trasia is a perpetual contract trading interface built on Hyperliquid, targeting Asian users. It provides markets across crypto, stocks, indices, commodities, FX, and pre-IPO exposure. Users can view mark prices, funding rates, order books, and candles, use default and pro order forms, and manage account value, history, and USDC actions in Portfolio. The platform is a non-custodial interface: it does not execute, match, clear, settle, or custody assets; actual trading is handled by Hyperliquid, HIP-3 markets, and other third-party systems.
Its core narrative is lowering the barrier for Asian users to trade on-chain perpetuals: more transparent than centralized exchanges, more localized than general protocols. To address the lack of mobile-friendly, Chinese-language, and locally relevant assets, Trasia offers bilingual web and mobile products, plus an invite-only Asia Points program for early users. It initially connects to Hyperliquid native markets and emphasizes Asia-focused assets such as AI infrastructure.
Over the past six months, the first web version launched in July 2026 with Chinese/English support, Asia Points began, and a mobile app was released in August. The project is still early-stage with limited volume. Official docs warn that perpetual futures are high-risk and users may lose all or a substantial portion of assets; users should verify orders, addresses, and networks.
Trasia launched its web interface on July 17, 2026, completed a $1.75M seed round led solely by Multicoin Capital, and secured over $35M in HYPE/USDC commitments to support the launch of its HIP-3 Asian equity perpetuals market. The platform initially connects to Hyperliquid's native perpetual markets via a non-custodial model, offers Chinese and English support, and has rolled out an invite-only Asia Points program. Official plans include launching a native mobile app in August and introducing proprietary HIP-3 contracts later this year, focusing on AI infrastructure, near-IPO, and Asia's high-attention assets. With teams in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Tokyo, Trasia emphasizes a mobile-first, regionally localized strategy to attract users new to on-chain trading, aiming to become a benchmark Asia-focused perpetuals platform. Priorities ahead include product refinement, liquidity provisioning, and user acquisition before pursuing a larger funding round.
