About Timeswap

Timeswap is a decentralized money market protocol built on an Automated Market Maker (AMM) model. It allows users to lend, borrow, and provide liquidity for any ERC-20 token without relying on price oracles. The protocol operates on multiple chains including Arbitrum, Mantle, Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Base.

Its core innovation is an oracleless, fixed-term, and non-liquidatable design. Interest rates are determined by market participants through the AMM’s constant product formula, eliminating the need for external price feeds. This reduces risks like oracle manipulation and forced liquidations, making borrowing safer for users. Lenders earn fixed yields, while borrowers can access funds without collateral price monitoring. Liquidity providers facilitate these markets and earn fees.

Timeswap addresses key pain points in traditional DeFi lending: high dependency on oracles, liquidation risks, and limited asset support. By removing oracles and enabling permissionless pool creation, it opens lending markets to long-tail assets and reduces systemic risks.

In the past six months (March to September 2026), Timeswap has expanded its deployment to additional blockchain networks, increasing accessibility. The protocol has also refined its AMM parameters to improve capital efficiency and user experience. No major negative incidents were reported during this period, though the broader DeFi market faced volatility. Overall, Timeswap continues to grow as a niche solution for oracle-free, fixed-term lending.
