About Templar Protocol

Details

Templar Protocol is a chain-agnostic overcollateralized lending protocol that enables users to borrow stablecoins against native assets such as Bitcoin, without custodians, bridges, or wrapped tokens. Its core mechanism leverages NEAR's multi-party computation (MPC) network and chain signatures: user assets are jointly managed by MPC nodes, and smart contracts trigger transactions via chain signatures, enabling cross-chain lending while preserving asset nativity. The protocol supports customizable market parameters and plans to introduce modular vaults and privacy enhancements.
