About t1 Protocol

t1 Protocol is an Ethereum scaling solution that uses Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) to enable real-time proof generation. Its core value lies in allowing rollups to prove state transitions to Ethereum within a single block, achieving cross-chain interoperability without relying on third-party bridges or messaging protocols.

The main pain point t1 addresses is Ethereum ecosystem fragmentation. Currently, liquidity and users are scattered across hundreds of rollups, forcing developers to deploy on multiple chains and users to navigate complex bridging processes. t1 enables applications to deploy once and serve users across all connected chains, with cross-chain reads and writes that support use cases like automated yield vaults and same-block deposit-trade-withdrawal workflows.

In the past six months (March to September 2026), t1 launched its public testnet, demonstrating real-time proof generation with sub-second latency. The protocol also integrated with several major DeFi applications to test cross-chain lending and yield optimization scenarios. No significant negative events were reported during this period, though the project remains in early stages with limited production usage.

t1 Protocol, an Ethereum scaling solution, completed a $2.5 million Pre-seed funding round in September 2024, led by a16z CSX with participation from Espresso, Frax, Cow Swap, and others, and joined a16z Crypto Startup School. In November 2025, the project published its Vision Litepaper, detailing its architecture combining TEE-based Real-Time Proofs with AVS economic security and bespoke ZKPs, and outlining its roadmap toward a permissionless network. These milestones establish its foundational funding and technical direction for unifying Ethereum's fragmented rollup ecosystem.

Over the past six months, t1 Protocol launched Real-Time Proving (RTP) on Arbitrum and Base mainnets, introducing the first TEE-enabled proving mechanism compatible with ERC-7683. The t1 RTP Intent Bridge enables solver repayment in ~6 seconds via xChainRead, with TEE-sealed bid auctions for transparent pricing. Future focus includes building composable appchains, cross-chain vaults, and same-block deposit-trade-withdrawal flows, aiming to become a permissionless liquidity layer across Ethereum and L2s.
