Details

Superbridge is a cross-chain bridging platform built on the OP Stack, focused on native asset transfers within the OP Chain ecosystem, including Optimism, Base, and Zora. It aggregates official native bridge contracts, enabling users to move ETH and ERC-20 tokens between L2 networks with low cost and high security. The platform offers both a web frontend and an open API, supporting developers in integrating cross-chain functionality. Its core mechanism directly invokes each chain's native bridge contracts rather than relying on third-party custody or wrapped assets, thereby inheriting the security assumptions of the underlying rollups. Superbridge supports forced withdrawal, allowing users to extract assets directly via L1 in case of faults, enhancing the system's decentralization and censorship resistance.
