About Sundial

Details

Sundial is an institutional-grade Bitcoin infrastructure built as a UTXO-native Layer 2 using Optimistic Rollup technology, designed to generate yield on Bitcoin securely and compliantly. It allows users to lock BTC on the mainnet and mint tokens on the eUTXO layer without relying on external bridges, custodians, or smart contracts, thereby eliminating MEV extraction and bridge attack risks. Sundial operates its own L2 with no external dependencies, achieving 1,000+ TPS under load and completing independent audits. Its testnet is live with 30+ ecosystem partners, and it won first place in the institutional track at Paris Blockchain Week. Sundial develops the Onflow identity protocol, which leverages ZK technology to provide low-cost on-chain KYC solutions for DEXs.
