About Stable Jack
Stable Jack is a decentralized finance protocol built on Avalanche. Its core business separates yield from price volatility of collateral assets, minting two token types: a yield-bearing stablecoin (Yield Token) and a volatility token (Volatility Token). The former accumulates the underlying asset's interest while maintaining a price peg; the latter bears price fluctuations and offers leveraged exposure. Additionally, the protocol provides a Stable Swap feature supporting single-sided liquidity provision to reduce impermanent loss.
Its core narrative is "decoupling yield and risk": users can hold the stablecoin to earn fixed income, or hold the volatility token for leveraged speculation without liquidation risk. This addresses pain points in DeFi such as unstable yields and complex, liquidation-prone leverage. The protocol also plans to expand collateral types to yield stablecoins, LP tokens, and real-world assets (RWA) to enhance composability.
In the past six months (2026-03 to 2026-09), the protocol advanced its v2 upgrade, aiming to include more collateral types and optimize tokenomics. However, note that its native token JACK has dropped over 95% from its all-time high, showing weak market performance. The 24-hour trading volume is extremely low (around $40), indicating severe illiquidity and high market risk.
