About Secured Finance
Secured Finance is a decentralized fixed-rate lending protocol built for digital asset investors, operating on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Filecoin. Its core business includes fixed-rate/fixed-term lending markets, the Filecoin-backed stablecoin USDFC, and automated yield vaults. The platform also integrates tokenized real-world assets (RWA) such as UBS's uMINT money market fund as collateral for stablecoin borrowing.
Its key competitive edge lies in combining institutional-grade RWA collateral with DeFi's transparency and efficiency. The protocol addresses market pain points such as unpredictable floating rates, lack of term certainty, and the disconnect between traditional finance assets and on-chain liquidity. By enabling tokenized securities to be used as collateral and automating lending strategies through vaults, it reduces operational friction for both retail and institutional users.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), Secured Finance partnered with DigiFT to integrate uMINT as collateral, launched the Yield Vault product for automated stablecoin lending, and collaborated with Parasail to accept pFIL (liquid staking tokens) as collateral. These developments expanded its collateral types and use cases, bridging traditional finance and DeFi more deeply. No major negative events were reported during this period.
