Details

Sandglass is a yield tokenization protocol deployed on Solana. It splits yield-bearing assets (such as liquid staking tokens like mSOL and lending receipts) into PT (Principal Token) representing the principal and YT (Yield Token) representing future yield. Users deposit yield-bearing assets to obtain PT and YT, which can be traded separately on its built-in AMM: buying PT locks in fixed income, while buying YT provides leveraged floating yield exposure. The protocol uses oracles and AMM mechanisms for PT/YT pricing and liquidity, serving strategies such as fixed rates, yield hedging, and leveraged yield.
