Details

Rollux is a Layer 2 scaling solution for the Syscoin ecosystem, built on the OP Stack and providing an execution environment equivalent to the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). It inherits the security of the Bitcoin network (via Syscoin's merge-mining) and leverages Syscoin L1's BitcoinDA mechanism for data availability, thereby reducing transaction costs and increasing throughput while maintaining decentralization. Its core mechanism is an optimistic rollup, which assumes transactions are valid by default and includes a challenge window to ensure state correctness.
