Details

Playmint is a studio focused on fully onchain games and autonomous worlds. It builds games that run entirely on blockchain and developed Playerchains, a peer-to-peer network architecture enabling responsive multiplayer without central servers. Notable works include The Crypt and Downstream, the latter allowing players to extend the game world by writing code. Playmint emphasizes decentralization, verifiability, and player ownership, with all code open-sourced. It was acquired by Cartridge to advance onchain gaming infrastructure.
