Details

OpenSky Finance is a decentralized NFT lending protocol on Ethereum, featuring a first-of-its-kind hybrid of peer-to-pool and peer-to-peer models. It allows NFT holders to use blue-chip NFTs as collateral for instant loans at floor price (peer-to-pool) or negotiate bespoke loans with lenders (peer-to-peer). Lenders deposit funds into the pool, which are deployed to Aave for base yield and also used for lending to earn additional interest. The protocol employs a time-based discrete liquidation mechanism (DTBL) to avoid cascading liquidations from price volatility, and a pre-funded liquidation reserve protects lender capital.
