Details

Nyx is an Ethereum privacy layer built on the Aztec network, providing 'incognito mode' private transfers and interactions for Ethereum assets. It leverages zero-knowledge proofs and account abstraction to let users create and manage private accounts without changing their existing Ethereum wallets, achieving full confidentiality for balances, transaction history, and on-chain activity. Nyx supports sending and receiving assets and plans to integrate DeFi protocols like Aave, enabling private transactions beyond simple transfers, such as lending. Its core mechanism involves user-held viewing keys, where only the owner or authorized parties can decrypt transaction content, and the platform itself cannot inspect user data. This grants users autonomous control over privacy while maintaining blockchain transparency.
