About Nori

Details

Nori is a blockchain-based carbon removal marketplace that connects carbon removal suppliers (such as regenerative agriculture projects) with buyers (companies or individuals). It issues NRT (Nori Removal Tonne) tokens, each representing one tonne of verified CO2 removal, and uses NFTs to record the full lifecycle data of carbon removal, immutability, and prevention of double counting. The platform uses smart contracts to manage transactions, payments, and certificate issuance, and supports compliance allowlist mechanisms.
