Details

Moonshot is a Solana-based meme coin launchpad developed by DEX Screener. It enables users to create and trade tokens via a built-in bonding curve mechanism, eliminating the need for traditional liquidity pools. The core mechanism is a constant product curve: token price rises with purchase volume, and trading automatically halts when sales reach ~80% of supply (corresponding to a ~345 SOL market cap threshold), triggering a migration process. During migration, after deducting fees (6 SOL for Raydium or 3 SOL for Meteora), remaining collateral and tokens are proportionally migrated to an external decentralized exchange (e.g., Raydium or Meteora) to establish a permanent liquidity pool. Unsold tokens are burned, ensuring deflationary token supply. The platform emphasizes fair launches with no pre-sales, no insider allocations.
