Details

Mercle is a decentralized Web3 identity and reputation data layer that allows DApps, DAOs, and protocols to issue verifiable attestations for users' on-chain and off-chain activities. Its core splits user data into a soulbound identity (resolved via IPNS) and a utility profile (managed by smart contracts), with proofs signed using the EIP-712 standard to enable gasless off-chain verification and on-chain verifiability. After completing tasks, users submit claims that are verified by authorized entities holding the CLAIM_ISSUER_ROLE to generate attestations, which can be used for identity verification, reputation building, governance weighting, access control, and reward distribution.
