MBD is an AI-powered content recommendation system for Web3 applications. Its core products include machine learning APIs and a no-code feed builder, enabling developers to integrate intelligent content distribution quickly.

Founded in 2023 by Yassine Landa, mbd (now rebranded as getembed.ai) received support from a16z Crypto Startup Accelerator, positioning itself as an AI intelligence layer for Web3 content.
In late 2023, the project launched a private beta focused on content moderation and recommendations for Farcaster data, initially validating its technology in real-world usage.
In November 2024, mbd completed a $3 million pre-seed round co-led by Mask Network and Polymorphic Capital, with participation from a16z crypto CSX and others, to scale its AI models and team. During EthCC 2024, early API-powered projects performed strongly at hackathons, demonstrating the technology's potential.
In 2025, Coinbase Wallet announced integrating an mbd-powered social feed into its wallet, marking mainstream wallet adoption of AI-driven personalization. mbd subsequently launched onchain content feeds on Base and expanded personalization to NFTs and tokens. In April 2025, it rebranded to getembed.ai, shifting from content recommendation to a broader AI intelligence layer.

Yassine Landa, Founder & CEO of mbd.xyz. He previously served as ML Lead at Chainlink Labs and Senior Data Scientist at Amazon Web Services (AWS), with earlier roles at OCTO Technology and LoopMe. He graduated from Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne. He founded mbd to build an AI recommendation engine for Web3 communities, using on-chain data (e.g., Farcaster, Lens) to deliver personalized content. Based on reliable public sources, he is currently the sole co-founder and core executive at mbd.
