About Mass

Mass is an all-in-one mobile DeFi platform that combines spot trading, perpetual futures, and multichain DeFi services into a single interface. Its core innovation is account abstraction technology, which eliminates seed phrases, gas fees, and platform fragmentation, making DeFi accessible to mainstream users. The platform addresses common pain points such as complex onboarding, high transaction costs, and fragmented liquidity across chains. As of the latest available data (October 2023), Mass has been actively developing its scripting language and user experience, but no specific developments from the last six months (March–September 2026) are documented in the provided sources.

Mass (formerly Nested Finance) was founded in 2021 as a one-stop DeFi application offering cross-chain bridges, DEX aggregation, and data statistics. In February 2022, the project completed a $7.5 million Series A round with investors including Alan Howard, Republic Capital, Kenetic Capital, and CMT Digital. The same month, it distributed 50,000 NST tokens to early users, establishing its community base.

In April 2022, it integrated with Ethereum, followed by Arbitrum in September, gradually achieving multi-chain support. In February 2023, it completed a Trail of Bits smart contract audit and won a $250,000 Optimism prize, further strengthening security and ecosystem recognition. These milestones mark the project's evolution from startup to maturity, with its multi-chain and security initiatives holding long-term significance.

Mass (formerly NestedFi) advanced its one-stop DeFi platform over the past six months. Key developments include a strategic shift in user acquisition: founder Rudy Kadoch restricted KYC for users from the Philippines, Nigeria, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh to curb airdrop farming, replacing the KYC quest with a requirement of at least $200 in trading or on/off-ramp transactions. This aims to attract genuine users and reduce abuse.

Meanwhile, MassPay, its payout infrastructure arm, reported record Q2 2026 results: payout volume grew 408% year-over-year, and gross revenue rose 98%. It launched stablecoin-based payouts via Circle's Payments Network and a Coinbase partnership, integrating digital dollar rails into its orchestration platform. It also introduced payee verification services (account name inquiry, validation) at no extra cost and expanded multi-currency funding to 39 currencies.

Future focus: Mass will continue scaling stablecoin rails, deepen local delivery networks across 180 countries, and refine incentive mechanisms to prioritize real usage over farming. The roadmap emphasizes sustainable growth, enterprise adoption, and building trust through reliable, fast payouts.
