Loon Network is a decentralized cross-chain lending protocol designed to break down liquidity barriers between multiple blockchains. It allows users to deposit assets across chains to provide liquidity or borrow assets via over-collateralization; it also aggregates liquidity from other DeFi protocols (such as AMMs, money markets, and derivatives) to improve capital efficiency. Its core mechanisms include: managing on-chain assets through multi-signature to enable cross-chain communication; using a unified liquidity token LOON to integrate multi-chain assets, giving users consistent yields across different chains; and requiring nodes to stake LOON tokens to provide services and earn fees, thereby ensuring network security.
