Details

Load Network is an EVM-compatible blockchain built on Arweave and ao, designed to provide on-chain permanent storage and data availability for decentralized applications. It uses Arweave as a decentralized hard drive, enabling smart contracts to directly read and write Arweave data via precompiles, while also supporting temporary storage for caching or logs. Developers can deploy Solidity contracts or call storage and compute capabilities through ao processes to build data-intensive applications. Its core mechanisms include Reth execution extensions (ExEx) for data compression and archiving, and HyperBEAM devices supporting heterogeneous compute such as GPU. The project positions itself as an "on-chain data center, " offering infrastructure for the EVM ecosystem requiring high throughput and low-cost storage.
