Details

Liber3 is a decentralized ebook library built on Ethereum Name Service (ENS) and the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). It does not rely on central servers; instead, it stores and distributes ebooks via the IPFS network. Users can search and download books in multiple formats (mobi, epub, azw3, pdf) without registration. Core features include keyword search (by title, author, or ISBN), direct retrieval via IPFS gateways, a recommendation feature, a command-line tool (installable via pip, then using the `lib3` command to search), and a bot for AstrBot-enabled groups. files are split into 256KB chunks and distributed across multiple nodes, using content addressing to ensure uniqueness, enhancing censorship resistance and availability.
