Details

Kasplex is a zkEVM Layer 2 Rollup in the Kaspa ecosystem, leveraging Kaspa's blockDAG consensus for ordering and data availability, with $KAS as the native gas token. It is compatible with the Ethereum toolchain, allowing developers to deploy and interact with smart contracts using Solidity, Hardhat, MetaMask, etc., without learning a new language. Users bridge $KAS from Layer 1 to Layer 2 via the official two-way bridge to pay gas or engage in DeFi, NFTs, and other applications, and can transfer back anytime. Kasplex adopts an open node infrastructure—anyone can run a node, avoiding centralization risks. Its core mechanism embeds EVM bytecode into Kaspa transactions, which indexers execute and update state, while zk proofs ensure verifiability.
