About inshAllah

inshAllah is a Shariah-compliant DeFi ecosystem built on Solana, addressing the religious needs of Muslim users who cannot engage with conventional interest-based crypto products. Its core offering is Goldsand, a liquid staking protocol that filters out haram (impermissible) transactions at the validator level, ensuring staking rewards are halal. Users stake SOL to receive iASOL, which can then be used as collateral in iA Borrow to mint iAUSD, a yield-bearing stablecoin that operates without interest or fees. A third product, iA Earn, automates leverage by looping borrowed iAUSD back into SOL staking, allowing users to amplify returns while maintaining compliance.

The main pain point inshAllah solves is the exclusion of over 2 billion Muslims from mainstream DeFi due to religious prohibitions on riba (interest), gharar (excessive uncertainty), and haram activities. By embedding a Shariah screening process directly into the validator infrastructure, inshAllah offers a practical bridge between Islamic finance principles and decentralized finance, without compromising on yield or user experience.

In the six months from March to September 2026, inshAllah has focused on protocol refinement and community growth. The platform has maintained 100% uptime and continued to expand its validator filtering capabilities. While specific metrics for this period are not publicly disclosed, the project has been actively iterating on its V2 design, which was announced in late 2025, aiming to improve capital efficiency and expand the range of permissible assets. It is worth noting that the project's Shariah compliance approach has faced some debate within Islamic finance circles, as the interpretation of what constitutes 'halal' in crypto remains contested among scholars. However, no major security incidents or user complaints have been reported during this period.

inshAllah is building Shariah-compliant DeFi infrastructure for the 2-billion-strong global Muslim community, centered on avoiding riba (interest) and gharar (uncertainty).

In July 2025, inshAllah completed a $2.1 million seed round led by Alliance DAO, with participation from Blockchain Builders Fund, Polymorphic Capital and others, marking recognition from a top crypto incubator and providing capital for further development.

On the product side, the project launched iAUSD, a Shariah-compliant yield-bearing stablecoin, and iABorrow, an interest-free lending protocol with low liquidation penalties. In October 2025, the team retired the ETH staking V1 (Goldsand) to focus on V2, which will allow users to borrow iAUSD against staked ETH and enhance yield, reflecting a shift from single staking to lending and leverage.

These milestones outline inshAllah's path from funding to compliant product rollout.
