About Hetu Protocol
Hetu Protocol is an AI-native monetary stack built on Ethereum, designed to connect crypto liquidity with the AI economy. Its core business involves a three-layer token system: $HETU as the base asset, $AIUSD as a zero-fee stablecoin, and $FLUX as a real-time audit layer. The protocol uses a causal DAG ledger with Proof of Causal Work (PoCW), claiming 210K TPS, 400ms finality, and 1ms audit capabilities across 1,000+ AI markets.
The main pain point it addresses is the lack of reliable payment and verification infrastructure for AI agents. Currently, AI services struggle with trust, settlement speed, and cross-platform payments. Hetu aims to solve this by enabling autonomous agents to verify outputs, transact instantly, and fund future work on-chain.
In the past six months (2026-02-28 to 2026-08-31), Hetu 3.0 was officially launched, introducing the AI-native currency stack with the three-token model. The protocol also released several open-source repositories including hetu-chain and hetu-chaoschain, though these remain in early development stages with limited adoption. No major negative events were reported during this period.
