About GoldSky
GoldSky is a Web3 data infrastructure platform that turns raw blockchain data into fast, reliable APIs. Its four core products cover the full data lifecycle: Turbo streams real-time on-chain data into any database; Subgraphs provides indexed GraphQL APIs for querying historical data; Edge RPC offers high-performance node access with cross-validation; Compose enables automated on-chain operations like oracles or payment triggers.
The core narrative is 'real-time, reliable, and verifiable data for financial-grade applications.' It solves key pain points: slow and unreliable public RPC nodes, complex subgraph deployment, data inconsistency during chain reorgs, and the difficulty of building automated on-chain workflows. For fintech and payments, it ensures settlement data is final and auditable.
In the past six months (Feb-Aug 2026), GoldSky launched Compose as a general-availability product (April 2026), enabling TypeScript-based durable workflows with TEE attestation. It also partnered with Tempo to leverage sub-second finality for payment use cases, and released a dedicated payments/fintech solution page highlighting compliance-friendly data replication into customer-owned databases. No major negative events were reported in this period.
GoldSky's journey began in July 2024, when the team encountered various RPC provider issues—stale data, rate limits, and outages—while building an EVM indexer, leading them to build their own RPC proxy, eRPC. In August 2024, eRPC was officially released as an open-source project under Apache 2.0, quickly gaining community recognition with teams like Circle and Morpho adopting and contributing to it. In January 2025, GoldSky officially acquired eRPC, integrating it into their product line while maintaining its open-source nature, creating a complementary model of open-source community and managed services. In April 2025, GoldSky launched Compose, supporting persistent on-chain operations written in TypeScript, covering scenarios such as oracles, keepers, and cross-chain automation, marking the platform's expansion from data reading to on-chain writing.
Long-term significant milestones include: the open-sourcing of eRPC establishing an open standard for RPC infrastructure; the acquisition of eRPC achieving synergy between the open-source community and commercial products; and the launch of Compose elevating GoldSky from a data platform to a complete on-chain operations platform.
Over the past six months (2026-03-15 to 2026-09-15), Goldsky shipped several major milestones. In April 2026, it launched Compose, a TypeScript framework for durable onchain automation covering oracles, keepers, cross-chain payments, and prediction-market resolution. Compose provides persistent smart wallets with gas sponsoring, automatic retries, state management, and full execution tracing; it reached v0.1.0 in August 2026. In May 2026, Goldsky partnered with Circle to enable Nanopayments via x402 on Edge RPC, letting agents and developers pay per request in stablecoins without API keys or accounts. The same month, it introduced Data APIs with pay-per-query pricing ($10 per million compute units), starting with block data and Polymarket datasets. In August 2026, Edge RPC endpoints became manageable from the CLI, and realtime caching was rolled out across Edge. Future priorities include expanding Data API dataset categories, enabling subgraph monetization via x402, and continuing to build Compose toward broader cross-chain automation and production-grade reliability.
