Details

Firstset is a Switzerland-based blockchain services company specializing in validator operations and infrastructure support for emerging decentralized networks. Its core business includes running blockchain validator nodes, developing open-source tools (such as CLI tools for validator deployment and management), and building staking-economy explorers (e.g., a restaking explorer). Co-founded by Bernat Fages, the team leverages technical automation (e.g., using AI to assist validator upgrades) to improve node operational efficiency. Firstset actively participates in early-stage ecosystem development, covering staking, liquid staking, and decentralized finance (DeFi), while advocating for fairer trading mechanisms (such as non-FIFO order matching) on-chain. Its mission is to bootstrap cryptoeconomic networks with computational, intellectual, and social capital.
