Details

Firechain is an asynchronous, event-driven smart contract platform built on its proprietary Async VM (AVM), utilizing a DAG-based HotDAG ledger model and DPoS consensus. It supports feeless transactions (via a dynamic heat-based rate limit), native tokens and NFTs, the Vortex cross-chain protocol, verifiable random functions (VRF), scheduled execution, and on-chain event listeners. Developers write contracts in the Pyro language and leverage asynchronous message patterns for parallel processing, enabling use cases such as DeFi, automation, and cross-chain asset transfers.
