About EVEDEX
Key milestones in EVEDEX's development:
Testnet phase (November 2024 – May 2025): From Testnet 3.1 Alpha limited to Badge holders, to 3.2 Beta open to all traders, and finally invitation-only Pre-Mainnet, the platform attracted over 600,000 participants, validating core trading functionality and product direction.
Mainnet launch (2025): Mainnet access was rolled out in four stages based on user activity, establishing EVEDEX as a hybrid perpetual DEX on Arbitrum. According to available data, the platform has surpassed $51 billion in trading volume and 64,000 users, combining CEX-speed execution with DEX-level self-custody.
Migration to Arbitrum L2 (July 1, 2026): EVEDEX abandoned its custom L3 Rollup (Eventum) and migrated to Arbitrum L2, gaining broader wallet ecosystem support, decentralized security, and backing from the Arbitrum Foundation. Trading was paused for only 3–5 minutes during migration, with user funds seamlessly transferred via Smart Accounts.
On July 1, 2026, EVEDEX officially migrated from its proprietary Arbitrum Orbit L3 (Eventum) to Arbitrum L2, executed in phases: new smart accounts were generated in advance, systems switched over (~15 minutes, with trading paused for 3–5 minutes), then deposits/withdrawals resumed and L3 balances were automatically transferred to new accounts based on a snapshot. The team cited broader wallet/ecosystem support, Arbitrum security, and Arbitrum Foundation backing. On July 18, it launched a $500,000 ADL Protection Reserve to absorb auto-deleveraging volume during extreme volatility and avoid reducing profitable traders' positions as much as possible; almost all ADL demand was absorbed after launch, with only a brief exceedance during a single day of extreme conditions, and capacity will be dynamically adjusted. EVEDEX also launched on Polygon, offering 24/7 perps, RWAs, and commodities with sub-cent settlement. Future focus includes deepening ecosystem integration on Arbitrum L2, continuously optimizing ADL protection, and expanding multi-chain deployments.
