About Ember Protocol

Ember Protocol is a decentralized vault infrastructure that packages on-chain strategies into structured financial products. Its core business revolves around multi-strategy vaults, such as the Third Eye vault, which runs prediction market strategies on Polymarket. Users deposit USDC, and the vault manager executes strategies to generate returns. The protocol's key strength lies in its composable and modular design, allowing strategies to run across different chains and protocols while maintaining risk control through automated tools.

The market pain point Ember addresses is the fragmentation and complexity of DeFi yield opportunities. Instead of manually navigating lending markets, liquidity pools, or derivatives platforms, users can access curated vaults that handle execution behind the scenes. This lowers technical barriers and improves capital efficiency.

In the past six months (2026-03-04 to 2026-09-04), Ember Protocol's TVL has shown resilience. It reclaimed the $100 million mark in March and reached $111.9 million by early September, a 22.2% increase over the period. However, a notable risk emerged: the Third Eye vault concentrated over 90% of its $1.3 million pool into a single prediction market position—betting nearly $1.187 million on Trump nominating Warsh as Fed chair at an average price of $0.95. This near-all-in approach highlights execution and concentration risks inherent in prediction market strategies, where price jumps are discrete and difficult to hedge against.

In the past six months, Ember Protocol has achieved several major milestones:

  1. Ember Treasury (USTY) went live on the Canton network and began trading on Cantex, marking the official launch of its tokenized Treasury product.

  2. Temple Digital Group listed Ember-issued physical gold (eXAU) and silver (eXAG) tokens, expanding its tokenized real-world asset portfolio.

  3. Partnered with Syntetika to provide on-chain infrastructure for regulated funds.

  4. TVL surpassed $100 million again, reflecting market confidence.

Future focus: plans to list USTY on more venues; expects to launch independent reserve attestations, a proof-of-reserves dashboard, and legal opinions in H2 2026 to enhance transparency.
