About EasyA
EasyA is a mobile-first Web3 education app that teaches blockchain and coding through bite-sized quizzes, rewarding users with NFTs and crypto. Its core business extends beyond the app into large-scale in-person hackathons, which have evolved from coding competitions into startup incubators where developers build and pitch real products.
The platform's core narrative centers on lowering the barrier to Web3 adoption. It addresses the pain point that blockchain technology has long been too infrastructure-focused and inaccessible to everyday users. EasyA solves this by making learning gamified and mobile-friendly, while its hackathons push developers toward building consumer-facing applications rather than raw protocols.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), EasyA's focus has shifted decisively toward AI agents. At its Consensus Miami hackathon in May 2026, nearly 1,000 developers gathered, including engineers from Microsoft and Google, to build AI-native startups spanning autonomous payments, consumer apps, hardware, drones, and prediction markets. Coinbase sponsored challenges around the x402 framework for AI-agent payments, while Solana pushed mobile-first consumer experiences. Winning projects included Dairy Price API x402, which lets AI agents directly call data services and settle automatically in USDC, and AgentPay, an AI-driven autonomous payment system with user authorization. These projects represent an early transition of AI agents from tools to economic actors.
EasyA addresses the industry-wide problem of blockchain's lack of real-world utility. By combining education with hands-on building, it helps developers move from learning to launching. The platform has also faced minor technical issues reported by users, such as progress not syncing on the blockchain, though these are isolated complaints rather than systemic failures.
In the past six months, EasyA has advanced its mission to become a Web3 education and startup launchpad. Key developments include the launch of Jeeves, an AI-powered founder assistant, announced in June 2026. Jeeves helps users with product scoping, technical architecture, coding, market research, and investor materials, aiming to lower barriers for builders. The platform also hosted a major hackathon during Consensus Miami in May 2026, attracting nearly 1,000 developers, with a focus on AI agents and application-layer projects. Notable winners included a dairy price API using x402 for automated USDC payments. EasyA's community has surpassed 1 million users, and the company has emphasized its role in incubating startups, with alumni raising significant funding. Future plans include rolling out Jeeves to the broader community in Q3 2026 and continuing to support builders through educational content and hackathons, with a strategic focus on AI agents and real-world blockchain applications.
