About DESO

DeSo (formerly BitClout) launched in March 2021 as the first layer-1 blockchain built specifically for decentralized social media, enabling on-chain profiles, posts, and creator coins. In September 2021, it rebranded to DeSo, solidifying its vision of a social layer for Web3. A major milestone came in July 2024 with the v4.0.0 upgrade, transitioning from Proof-of-Work to Proof-of-Stake, introducing validator registration, and enabling faster, more scalable consensus. Additionally, DeSo pioneered fully on-chain order-book DEX and cross-chain swaps, laying groundwork for decentralized finance integrated with social data. These events mark foundational shifts in its architecture and long-term ecosystem growth.

Over the past six months (2026-03-11 to 2026-09-11), no substantive bullish or bearish factors affecting DESO's token price were identified from official sources or news reports. The only available context is general ecosystem information (e.g., DeSo 2.0, OpenFund, DesoDollar) that predates this period or lacks direct price impact. Therefore, no reliable update can be provided.
