Details

Darklake is a privacy-first decentralized exchange (DEX) built on Solana, utilizing zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) to encrypt traders' slippage tolerance, order size, and routing path until settlement via its 'blind slippage' mechanism. Its core innovation lies in single-sided liquidity pools, allowing liquidity providers (LPs) to deposit only one asset, avoiding impermanent loss while capturing the widened spread generated by privacy protection. Users connect a wallet to trade or provide liquidity; trade intents are encrypted and submitted, with Bonsol providing distributed proving for near-instant verification and Arcium enabling encrypted execution at the routing layer. The design aims to eliminate MEV (Miner Extractable Value) attacks at the protocol level, making transparency optional rather than default exposure.
