About DARK
DARK is an AI research platform built on Solana, focused on combining AI with blockchain through TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) and MCP (Model Context Protocol). Its core business includes Mallory, an open-source AI assistant app that can call x402 APIs for on-chain data, and Scout, an AI-native trading terminal with specialized agents for market analysis.
The platform's main narrative is "open-source AI + crypto rails": it provides a secure execution environment for AI agents, standardizes how AI accesses on-chain data via MCP, and makes all code public. This addresses the pain points of AI data trustworthiness (users can't verify where AI answers come from), closed-source AI black boxes, and the high barrier to accessing on-chain data.
In the past six months (2026-03 to 2026-09), DARK has expanded Mallory's API catalog to include 19 Nansen x402 endpoints, launched Scout with special agents (Sentiment, etc.) that are invoked via tags, and continued open-sourcing its infrastructure.
